Mura CMS is built with one simple purpose in mind – to make it easier and faster for people to build and update websites

Mura CMS runs on all major server operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Solaris, etc.) and runs in all major Web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari). Mura CMS works well on ColdFusion 7, 8 and 9, Railo, Open BD and Java as well. You even have your choice of database engines – Mura CMS plays well with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.

Mura is free to use under the GPL 2 License.

Mura comes in two flavors:
1. Mura Standard
Includes the source files for Mura and can be deployed on any Adobe ColdFusion MX7 (or newer) or Railo 2.0+ server. This version of Mura requires that you have either MySQL or MS SQL Server.

2.and Mura Express
Get up and running instantly. Mura Express is a fully self-contained version that will run on your local machine. Mura Express is perfect for demoing Mura, or for creating a local copy for development purposes. Includes Mura Standard on Railo Express (Railo CFML Engine, Jetty Application Server and WebServer, H2 Database).
